This Bagel Brunch is satisfying yet very simple. It is a Brunch 'à la va vite' like the French say. Or more accurately: 'Sur le Pouce'. Therefore it is quick to do. It doesn't require infuse science just good Ingredients to have a good Brunch for the start of the day.

Putting it all Together
Ham and Cheese Bagel.

  • Preptime: 10 to 15 minutes

  • Servings: 2 portions
Ingredients

2 Rye and Seeded Bagels.

2 to 4 slices of Honey Roast Ham.

1 Butterhead Lettuce.

2 to 4 slices of Emmental Cheese.

A little Butter to spread.

A little 'Dijonnaise' Mustard (half Mustard/half Mayonnaise). Hence it is milder.

Optional: Sliced Tomatoes. Chopped Chives.

Steps

First it is a matter of toasting the Bagels cut in half under the grill.

Meanwhile wash your Lettuce Leaves and dry them.

Remove the Bagels then prepare them by spreading the Butter on them.

The building up stage start by putting some of the Lettuce Leaves on the base of the Bagels.

Slice the Tomatoes and place them above the Lettuce.

Then it is the time to put the Honey Roast Ham slices.

The Emmental Cheese slices goes above the Ham.

Place the Build up bases of the Bagels back under the grill just up until the Cheese melt a little.

Take out of the grill to finish off the building of the Brunch Bagel with more Lettuce Leaves, chopped Chives and a drizzle of Dijonnaise Mustard.

Place the top of the Bagel back on and just enjoy.
