Recipes

When I opened my first cookery book to follow a recipe, it felt magical. If you put a little bit of this and a little bit of that and that you get a delicious meal. Feeling bewitched and that my cooking pot was my cauldron, I went on to try many recipes. I became a right foodie, adapting recipes to my own palate, growing my own ingredients especially when it is hard to get them. Recipes are there for you to play with. They are guidelines which can be pushed to your own demands, dietery requirements or fancy. You can always tick off an ingredient that you do not like and replace it with another. Experiment is key to get your own recipes that sing to your soul, heart and belly.
