A Selection of Salmon Fillets

Salmon Fillets are lovely pieces of Fish to serve. It can be used in so many different ways. Of course you can use it just without preparation as it is just by cooking it simply, Grilling, Pan Frying, Poaching, BBQing, Baking, etc, etc, etc. Salmon is so fleshy and nice that it does speak for itself in a sense.

Lightly Smoked Salmon Fillets. They have a slight shine to them.

However you can prep them further to deliver more, up to you. Salmon is a very versatile Fish, smoked or fresh. You can use the fillets cooked, and blended with cream Cheese as little paté/Terrine to be delivered to your guests. It could be wrapped in Smoked Salmon or in Cucumber Strips.

Those little Salmon Terrines were done for one lovely Christmas. The Cucumber wrapping added freshness to the dish. 

The result was a very enjoyable Starter to the main Meal. With Salmon, you can always be adventurous and try your hand at different ways of presenting it upon a table.

To put Salmon Fillets in a Marinade can also impart the Fish more flavour. A Citrus Marinade works well with Fish in general. It doesn't take long for Lemons or Limes juices to be effective, 20 to 30 minutes maximum.
