Ramanesco Peppers are the long red pointy Sweet Peppers. In fact they should be called Romesco but there and then they should be round and not long and pointy. So something somewhere went in another direction there.

Now there is a Romesco Pepper sauce coming from Spain, mainly used with Fish, made out of Sweet Peppers, 'Romanesco' Cauliflower, garlic, nuts either hazelnuts or pine nuts. Make the math. It is an easy mistake to do.

Those sweet long Peppers look nice roasted on a plate or roasted then preserved in Oil within a jar. It does make them versatile.

From appetisers, to starter, to being part of a supper or a main meal or lunch they can give you a welcome diversity to a dish but also colour.
