Bee upon a flower.

It is important to care for the Pollinators in your garden. So not using pesticides is a very good start and eventually you will be allowed to see them thriving. Another way to help is to provide flowers which attract Bees and Bumblebees.

Nowadays most of the Flowers and Veg providers like Sutton Seeds do provide informations about the kind of Flowers which will attract Pollinators in your Garden. It may just be a line about it but it is most helpful when your plan is to have some nice insects in your Garden which you enjoy to watch.

Of course there are great Insects which are not only enjoyable to watch but also helpful for the Garden like Ladybirds which feed on Green Flies. Green Flies do attack Plants rather than being useful hence coming up with an efficient Ecosystem to control your Garden is a good idea. It is to get into grip or having a little knowledge of the predators which could help you as a Gardener.

By stopping the use of all pesticides you will encourage back the life in your Garden and not all is bad whatsoever. Earthworms for example are useful to bring aeration within a pot of flowers. They are not to be discarded whatsoever. I do keep a pot which I wanted to re-use as a nursery for Earthworms. It has been so very useful to my other pots and Plants.

Another thing I could recommand to get for your Garden is a Bee Hotel which are now widely available in Garden Centre. They are so helpful for Bees and insects which are Pollinators. And if you see this below, it isn't a problem it is that you have Bees cutter leaf in your Garden which are excellent Pollinators and will use the Bee Hotel.

Bee cutter leaf action is seen on a plant by the semi circle they do leave behind on a leaf, here upon my Black Hellebores but they are to be kept as excellent Pollinators. It is actually good see that activity.

Last but not least you may if you have space in your Garden enjoy the hobby of Bee Keeping and have a hive at the bottom of your Garden. It is rewarding but also can give you Honey. My Uncle is a Farmer who keeps a fair few hives and I must confess that his Honey is delicious. But I didn't undeavoured to follow his footsteps so far. (I haven't got the space if I have the want and will)
